Employees hired for this position must be able to perform the essential function of this job without imposing significant risk of substantial harm to the health or safety of themselves or others.
Responsibilities
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, reach high and low.
- Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer standards.
- Moves furniture and sets-up tables and chairs
- Possess considerable knowledge of the operation, use, and care of floor scrubbers, side-by-side, burnisher, vacuum chariot, extractors, and pressure washer.
Must Have
- 1 year EVS Janitorial experience
- 1 year EVS Floor Technician experience
- Ability to communicate in English with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated
Nice to have
- 1 year Hospital EVS Janitorial experience preferred
- 1 year Hospital EVS Floor Technician experience preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and local requirements related to all assigned work
